My approach to art deals, with every day objects or places. That is translated into landscapes or still- life. It is an ongoing process of changes and growth, in constant evolution.
There are a combination of semi-representational modes: recognizable forms are played out in front of abstracted objects. Decayed layers of imformation, the images themselves give a clue that reveal part of the mystery to the viewer to make his own discoveries.
I have two or three different series of work going at a time. The objects and forms are defined by color and texture. My work has an inherent density which has been developed overtime. My palette is enriched through the use of multiple tones: and in essence monochromatic.
As an artist I strive for a sense of beauty in my paintings. There is ever-present a sense of structure, the images reveal themselves through variation on the same theme, creating an overall feeling of harmony.
